Texas Tech Official Ornament On Sale
The perfect way to show your Texas Tech pride.
Written by Sally Logue Post
Supporting Texas Tech students is as easy as hanging an ornament on your tree.
The 2006 Official Texas Tech Ornament is finished in 24-carat gold and depicts the west side of Jones AT&T Stadium.
This is the 10th in a series of ornaments that began in 1997. Proceeds from the ornament sales support special projects to benefit Texas Tech students. Last year’s sales provide more than $18,000 for grants to student organizations.
A new ornament is designed each year and depicts something unique to Texas Tech. Past designs have featured the Masked Rider, the Double T and the administration building bell tower. The ornaments are sold year-round.
To purchase this year’s ornament, or the whole set, visit www.ornaments.ttu.edu or contact the Office of the President at (806) 742-2121.
