The Alumni Association Welcomes Three New Employees

The Texas Tech Alumni Association has added to its ranks to better serve its members.
Christine Canales, a May 2006 summa cum laude graduate of Texas Tech, comes on board as the new assistant marketing director. She has a bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in marketing. She is from Sunray, Texas.
Christine had a year-long marketing internship with the association during her senior year.
Toni Caranfa, a Lubbock native, is the new receptionist. She comes to the association after serving as operations manager at the Lubbock I Sold It store.
Toni has been a volunteer with the Junior League of Lubbock, United Way and the Lubbock Independent School District.
She and her husband, Dominic, have two daughters, Libby and Taylor, who both attend Texas Tech.
Kathryn Lappe is a new accounting associate with the association. She is from Lubbock and has a bachelor’s degree in business from Wayland Baptist University.
She worked for the Lubbock County Deputy Clerk’s office prior to joining the association.
Kathryn has two children, Allen and Kirsten, who attend South Plains College.
