Linda A. Samples
Associate General Counsel
Linda A. Samples is an Associate General Counsel in the Office of General Counsel at the Texas Tech University System and advises the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at El Paso.
Linda is a native El Pasoan who graduated from Canutillo High School and the University of Texas at El Paso’s (UTEP) Law School Preparation Institute. As an undergraduate, Linda was elected to the Canutillo ISD Board of Trustees. Linda graduated from UTEP as a Top 10 Senior with a University Honors Degree, Bachelors in Psychology cum laude in 2002. Linda served as the Managing Editor of the Michigan Journal of Race & Law and graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 2005.
Linda previously served as a Senior Assistant City Attorney for the City of El Paso, In-House Counsel for El Paso ISD, and an Associate at Baskind & Hosford, P.C. Linda is a past president of the El Paso Women’s Bar Association and serves on the State Bar of Texas’ Women in the Profession Committee.
